The Department of Mass Communication, Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH), has congratulated renowned filmmaker, Femi Odugbemi, on his well-deserved selection to serve on the International Engagement Committee of the prestigious Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

It would be recalled that Odugbemi’s appointment was conveyed through a letter by Peter Devlin, Governor, International Engagement Committee Chair, Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, aka, Oscars, the 97-year-old world’s preeminent movie-related organisation comprising of over 10,000 accomplished individuals working in cinema.
